I was minding my own business this evening, still trying to catch up on my blog reading after the week away. When to my surprise I saw this photo on the Yarn Harlot's blog; followed by her discussion of what is "Virgin Acrylic" and where does one get it. Her readers offered comments and suggestions, but none satisfy. I am without explanation. How about you? Any ideas??
I have photos of the family reunion and some actual knitting that will come along very soon --- perhaps tomorrow.
Meanwhile I am gearing up for 4.5 solid days of sitting in meetings. so I have one shawl, one sock, and one scarf on needles ----- I can not stand the thought of sitting without knitting. Such is the academic life ---- all over American, but mostly the South at the moment --- teachers are suffering the beginning of school. I have only one question to ask, what pill do administrators take that allows them to forget how much they hated these meetings when they were teachers or baby docs at the academy? Teachers and professors suffer quietly for the sake of their students and the love of teaching. Our reward comes next week when the students return!! YEAH!!
