I have lots of grading to do and it will get done this weekend, but I simply had to take a break today. This has been a non-stop week which included several nights of working on class preps and grading because the days are crammed with classes, conferences with students, meetings with peers (NCATE is coming, NCATE is coming), and the ever present papers and projects to grade (4 sets staring at me from across the room). So today was personal stuff; bank, laundry, and time with hubby.
But last night I did finish up two WIP and got them off needles. Nothing spectular, but fun to have finished and tucked away in the drawer. Details are found on Ravelry by clicking on name. A new scarf --- needed something black & white and Peggy Sue seemed to fit the bill.
And then a sweet pair of socks from Socks by Wendy; these were my car knitting -- no, not while I am driving. . .while I am sitting in doctor offices, other assorted waiting rooms and at the (bank, Walgreens, fast food) drive-ups.
I have a new pair of socks on needles and love the pattern (Photo tomorrow). I should make some progress as I have two more dvds of "GLEE"-Season 1 for this afternoon and tonight. Knitting, popcorn, and fun videos --- sounds like Friday night at our house.
What are you doing for fun?
